Thank you! :D I'll try even hard next time!!
Love this, the soft brush strokes do indeed make this look very gentle, and love the peaceful look on his face. Enjoyed the W.I.P Pics too well done and good luck in the comp.
Thank you Justown! Yours is good too! The head of the duck made me laugh a lot :)
This is beautiful, really enjoy your use of shadows and lighting specially on Yubaba herself. Now I have to re-watch Spirited away :D
Wont be surprised to see this slip its way into the finalists.
Thankyou! im happy it inspired you to see Spirited Away again, i love that movie =)
hahahahahaha this is the funniest submission so far. gave me the best laugh.
Hope to see more stuff from you :)
Thank you :D
That's really nice and heart warming, love how well you rendered the wood.
I focused lot of my attention on the wood so I am very glad you like it!
Looks really, I've never been able to master watercolours only oil and acrylic painting, so anyone that can make anything look like something with watercolours is brilliant in my eyes. The T Rex and effects with the flame thrower really stands out for me looks good, best of luck in the competition :)
thank you!
I like it, colours are nice, looks like you use the same brush what program do you use?
Have you considered exploring different brush types/textured brushes at all.
One think I found that helped me capture likeness in a face was to use a crappy bulky textured brush, and work on a really rought sketch firstly, But if you have a reference photo printed out, or on your computer try focus on one feature at a time, Id draw faces from a magazine, making a circle with my hands and place it around the feature i want to focus on, or use a toilet roll, so you ignore the rest of the face and just work in the shape of that one feature, being either eye/nose cheekbone ect.
But working in the basic shapes for the key features before getting into the detail helps alot also.
Apart from that good piece <3
Thanx alot for the tips.....yeh u r right I used the same default round brush of photoshop...I will surely try using different brushes for my paintings and I really liked ur idea of focusing one part at a time....I will surely try that ...... Can't thank u enough.....U helped me alot :D
